University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview is the home of many leading health care programs due to our affiliation with the Academic Health Center at the University of Minnesota.

Diagnostic Laboratories
Recognized regionally and nationally, the laboratory offers a full range of testing services, from acute care support to unique reference diagnostic testing, with a strong emphasis on quality, accuracy and timeliness.

Pharmacy Residency Program
The University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview serves as the primary teaching site for the University of Minnesota Schools of Pharmacy, Medicine and Nursing. The Department of Pharmaceutical Services is the College of Pharmacy's primary teaching site. The hospital and clinics see a wide variety of patients and have well recognized programs in bone marrow transplantation, solid organ transplantation, cardiology, behavioral, oncology, and pediatrics.

Specialty Pharmacy
Fairview Specialty Pharmacy provides personal medication management services to patients with chronic medication needs including organ transplant, cystic fibrosis, hepatitis C and HIV.
