Charlotte Roehr, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Roehr has been practicing as a board certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the metro area since 1989. She trained in South Dakota and completed her specialty training at the University of Minnesota, where she is currently an assistant professor. Her special areas of interest include: electrodiagnostic medicine and in hospital and outpatient rehabilitation management of patients with neurologic conditions, brain diseases, peripheral nerve disorders, and spinal cord injuries. She serves as the medical director for the inpatient rehabilitation center, incorporating the needs and interests of each individual as part of her rehabilitation management.

Linda Gustafson, PT Program Director
Linda has leadership experience across the continuum of rehabilitation care including hospital, acute inpatient rehabilitation and transitional care. She is recognized for her expertise in program development, process improvement and patient focused care. Linda is also active in her professional community as a leader in the physical therapy profession, serving on state and national quality assurance committees.
Linda has a hopeful perspective and develops strong interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams who help patients return to active lives within their community.
- Physiatrist, a doctor who specializes in rehabilitation and disability-related medical conditions. Our doctor oversees every step of your care and works with your doctor and a spectrum of specialists to coordinate your care
- Rehabilitation Nurses, who are qualified as Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurses (CRRNs), and specialize in caring for complex medical conditions. Their work is supported by Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants
in meeting your day-to-day needs.
- Physical Therapists, who use specially designed exercises and equipment to help you regain or improve your movements, posture, strength and balance
- Occupational Therapists, who focus on improving your ability to care for yourself, including dressing and bathing, preparing meals, and managing household tasks
- Speech-Language Pathologists, who provide treatment for communication
and swallowing problems
- Social Workers, who help you to adjust to your lifestyle changes and coordinate community resources that will make your return home occur smoothly
