New Physicians at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center

Red Wing, MINN—Two new physicians joined the staff of Fairview Red Wing Medical Center on July 1. Dermatologist, Michelle Lewis, MD comes to Red Wing from Colorado where she was in private practice and worked with the Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley and the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. She completed her medical degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Medicine and her residency in dermatology at Brown Medical School in Rhode Island. She offers general medical and surgical dermatology.

“I look forward to providing general medical and surgical dermatology for patients in the Red Wing area,” Says Dr. M. Lewis. “I know that dermatology is an important specialty to be able to offer in a community like Red Wing. I’m looking forward to getting to know our patients and our communities.”

Stasha Lewis, MD is a pediatrician and received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas and completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. She provides medical care to children of all ages and has special interests in growth and development, children with disabilities and special health care needs. “I work closely with my young patients as well as their parents,” says Dr. S. Lewis. “Children of all ages have unique needs and issues and I’m excited to be able to provide comprehensive pediatric care as part of the pediatric team here at Fairview Red Wing.”

“We are delighted to expand our services to include dermatology,” says Jack Alexander. M.D. “It is an area of care needed by numerous patients and by offering it in Red Wing, it is more convenient than driving to one of the surrounding communities. Expanding our pediatrics services will allow us to better meet the needs of our young patients and on a more timely basis.” Fairview Red Wing Medical Center is a multi-specialty clinic offering primary care, with more than ten specialties available through staff providers and additional specialties available from our medical partners in the Twin Cities and Rochester.
