Your First Visit -- What to Expect
Your first visit is usually an exam and consultation with an oncologist. You may also need to see additional specialists, therefore please reserve at least three hours for your first appointment.

To help us provide you with the best care possible, please send your medical records before your first appointment. For new patients, our scheduler will contact you to ensure your records are in order prior to your first visit. Please confirm with your referring physician that we receive all laboratory reports, X-rays, pathology slides, and the most recent notes from your physician.

Following your visit, your case will be reviewed by the multidisciplinary team specializing in your disease. They will determine whether additional tests are needed or recommend a course of treatment. You will then have a follow-up visit with your oncologist to discuss your treatment plan and options.

Involving Your Family
Your family is important to your care. We understand the importance of having a personal support "team" at your side. We encourage you to bring family members or friends to any appointments, procedures, or treatment decisions.
