The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Centers team provides the highest quality of care to pregnant women who are at risk of or are experiencing a medically complicated pregnancy with conditions including:
Prior Pregnancy Complications
- Isoimmunization
- Incompetent cervix
- History of preeclampsia
- History of preterm labor
- Gestational diabetes and history thereof
- Hyperemesis gravidarum
- Recurrent pregnancy losses
- Prior fetal or neonatal death
Current Pregnancy-related Indications
- Abnormal biochemical screen
- Size greater than dates
- Size less than dates
- Polyhydramnios
- Oligohydramnios
- Multiple gestation
- Preterm labor
- Preeclampsia
- Previous stillbirth
- Bleeding
- Placenta previa
- Placental abruption
- Uncertain dates

- Intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) – known or suspected
- Macrosomia
- Hydrops fetalis
- Arrhythmia
- Congenital anomaly, known or suspected
- Chromosomal abnormality
- Abnormal lie
- Decreased fetal activity
- Fetal demise
- Biometric inconsistencies
- Cystic hygroma
- Cervical/Sacroccygeal teratomas
- Gastroschisis
- Ompholocele
- Skeletal dysplasias
- Bladder outlet obstruction
- Congenital diaphragmatic hernia
- Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation of the lung (CCAM)
- Pyelectasis/hydronephrosis
- Twin to twin transfusion syndrom (TTTS)
- Fetal chromosome abnormalities

The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Centers team provides a variety of treatments for pregnant women who are at risk of or are experiencing a medically complicated pregnancy including:
- Integrated first trimester nuchal translucency/biochemical marker screens
- Chorionic villus sampling (CVS)
- Second trimester serum screening
- 4-D Ultrasound
